
You can still vote in the federal election if you are unhoused.
Those who need to can use the address of a place you regularly access services — like a shelter, drop-in, or food bank — as your voting address.
You’ll need proof of address, which a staff person at that service location can provide by filling out a Letter of Confirmation of Residence.
You’ll also need an ID. If you don’t have one, someone with ID can vouch for you at the polls — but they can only vouch for one person.
