A big announcement this past week from the Strathroy Jets fresh off a conference championship finals appearance as the organization is officially joining the Northern Premier Hockey League (NPHL) for the 2025-26 season and beyond. In the team release, the team stated although the Ontario Super Hockey League had some great memories, it also came with challenges.
The NPHL (formerly the EOSHL) has seen incredible success across Eastern Ontario and Quebec, including partnerships with TSN and Bell Media and now, it’s expanding West with the launch of the Metropolitan Division. The Jets are joined within this division so far by the Alvinston Killer Bees, Tilbury Bluebirds and Woodstock Lakers.
