Pickleball is played outdoors
As we are heading into spring time, Strathroy-Caradoc is taking registration now for its spring programs both new and returning ones. myFM sat down with Recreation Program Coordinator Nicky Bolton.
These newer programs are being added to the current roster of programs including badminton and pickleball, and the football program will be led by coaching from the local high schools. Bolton says in 2025 they are expanding programs in terms of what ages can participate.
The roster of programs for the young ages has a variety to choose from.
She adds due to the programs being in the spring with school still in session, they will adapt to that.
She says you can register for these programs in many ways.
All programs are in Strathroy-Caradoc with most of them taking place in Strathroy proper. As far as summer programs, registration was taking record numbers as of January and most programs are full but you can inquire with the municipality to find out for sure.
