International Women’s Day presented by Caradoc Sands is Saturday, a global day celebrating the achievements of women while also marking a call to action for better gender parity. Sandi Hipple is one of two female councillors on Strathroy-Caradoc council and tells myFM what the day means to her.
Councillor Hipple has many female role models.
Hipple says we’re lucky to have an incredible community of women in Strathroy-Caradoc and Middlesex County in business, education, health care and politics as well as young women advancing to carry the torch.
