The sporting area around the community will continue to get a little brighter. This week, Strathroy-Caradoc Council approved $630,000 plus HST from the 2025 capital budget to fund upgrades at York Community Park (YCP) and the Doug Welch Ball Diamond. This investment will go towards installing new lighting, poles, and accessories to enhance the facilities. Musco Lighting will oversee the supply and installation, replacing the aging sports field lighting system.
