The provincial election is coming up February 27th and myFM is helping you get to know our local candidates. Today, the spotlight is on Kathryn Shailer, the NDP candidate in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex. The former teacher and administrator from Alvinston came third in the byelection in our riding last year, to replace Monte McNaughton and she tells myFM why she’s trying again.
Shailer highlights the top issues in their platform.
Delving further into the health care topic, Shailer tells us about one area of great concern.
Affordable housing is also very important.
Shailer says she also hopes people don’t forget that we did not need this provincial election and its huge price tag. She also worries about the timing of it.
