It’s felt more like a REAL WINTER in recent days, but a new report is shedding light on what’s been termed…the lost winter. The report is from Climate Central, an independent non-profit group of scientists headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey.
Researchers used meteorological data to track above-freezing days that would have been sub-zero in a world without climate change. In OUR REGION, the report shows Middlesex County averaged nine additional above-freezing winter days each December to February …due to climate change.
