A St. Thomas driver is facing impaired charges after an incident to celebrate the New Year. Strathroy-Caradoc Police tell myFM, on January 1st just before 6 a.m., they received a call regarding a possible impaired driver in the drive thru at Strathroy’s McDonalds. Police found the involved driver who was suspected to be impaired by alcohol. A 41-year-old man from St. Thomas was placed under arrest for operation while impaired. Later on they were charged with multiple offenses, had their license suspended, and the vehicle impounded.
