The Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department had a particularly busy weekend, responding to 10 emergency calls, including five active fires, a plane crash, several car accidents, and medical assistance calls. In response to the increase in calls, the Fire Department would like to remind residents that if your home has a fuel-burning appliance, a fireplace, or an attached garage, a carbon monoxide alarm must be installed outside all sleeping areas. This is a crucial safety measure to help protect your household from the dangers of carbon monoxide exposure.
