As of yesterday, Ontario’s general minimum wage rose from $16.55 to $17.20 per hour, benefiting nearly one million workers and their families. With one of the highest minimum wages in Canada, this 3.9% increase is tied to the Consumer Price Index. A full-time minimum wage worker will earn up to $1,355 more annually.
