Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre is holding their Second Annual Bottle Drive Fundraiser! They will be collecting empties (beer and liquor, bottles and cans) from March 1st until April 30th. At the Middlesex County Library in Komoka there will be a Free drop-in program for families with children 0-6 years old from 9am-11am today. Each Play & Learn program will offer a play-based learning opportunity in one of the indoor library program spaces. Activities planned by EarlyON facilitators encourage positive parent and child interaction and inspire play and learning!

Legion Catch The Ace is set to go today at the Royal Canadian Legion in Strathroy starting at 4:30pm.

Join the VON SMART Exercise program today from 9:30am-10:30am at the Southwest Middlesex Recreation Centre, in Glencoe. This is a free program for people aged 55 and older or for adults living with a disability. For more information about the program call 519-659-2273 ext. 22267.

Parkhill, Strathroy, Glencoe and Melbourne Storytime is set to go today from 10:30am- 11am at their respective libraries. Join staff for stories, songs, rhymes and fun! All are welcome.

Friday Night Suppers at the Royal Canadian Legion in Strathroy are set to be served starting at 5pm today night.

Get ready for Coffee, Conversation and Cardz at the Parkhill library today at 1:30pm. A drop in social time for adults to make cards, get creative and chat.

There will be a Meditation Club meeting today at the Mount Brydges Library starting at 6:30pm. Studies show that the effects of meditation while in a group more powerful than meditating alone. Strengthen your existing practice with like minded individuals. Session will start with open group discussion about general meditation experiences, followed by a guided group meditation. Format of meditation will vary each week. Recommended for people with some previous meditation experience.

Starting at 11am tomorrow at the Alisa Craig library is Retro Saturday. Join Saturdays for a relaxing, family-friendly classic movie screening! You can bring your comfy cushion while you munch on provided popcorn.

Rotary Club of Strathroy presents their Community Event, Girls Gone Country, starting at 6pm. Join for a boot-stompin’ good time at the Caradoc Community Centre in Mount Brydges. Get ready to dance and sing along to your favorite country hits! This in-person event will feature delicious food, fun contests and even a chance to win a diamond necklace from Poags Jewellers. The London Lightning is in action tomorrow night as they take on the St. Louis Griffins at Budweiser Gardens at 7pm.

Strathroy Rockets Spring Camp will take place on Saturday May 4th and Sunday May 5th at the West Middlesex Memorial Centre. Personal invitations have been going out but if you feel you have what it takes to play with them next year …. fill out a Prospect Form on their website and someone from their Hockey Department will reach out to you as spots are filling up quickly!
