A youth is facing charges after a scary situation last week. OPP tell us they have charged a 16-year-old with Carrying a concealed weapon and Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose in connection with an incident at Medway high school in Arva on Friday.
Shortly before noon that day, police received a report of a disturbance involving a student at the school. There were no public safety concerns associated with this incident, and there were no injuries. The youth’s identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
