The Peterborough Theatre Guild’s season continues next month with its staging of The Enchanted Bookshop at the Guild Hall on Rogers Street.
Featuring beloved literary characters such as Robin Hood, Heidi and Tom Sawyer, director Sarah Rogers says the comedy celebrates the act of reading in a magical way that appeals to all ages.
A retired teacher, Rogers says directing children is her happy place.
With the play opening December 1st, Rogers says anticipation is ramped up for her and her cast.
The Enchanted Bookshop continues until December 10th with both matinee and evening performances. Curtain times and tickets are available online.
