Smile cookies are back this week, and in this case it’s the holiday cookie. This week until Sunday, Tim Hortons is kicking off the holiday season with smiles and kindness with its first ever national Holiday Smile Cookie campaign, where 100% of proceeds are donated to local charities and community groups across Canada, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. Locally, the Strathroy locations will be raising funds for Tim Horton’s Camps and the Strathroy Lions Club, and Lions President Keith Ryan says it’s an appreciated opportunity.
Ryan says they are grateful for the opportunity, and if you want money to go back into the community, just buy a cookie.
Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, which since 1974 has supported over 315,000 youth at its seven Tims Camps. In Mount Brydges Tim Hortons will be supporting the camps and Mount Brydges Caring Cupboard, and in Parkhill funds raised will go to the camps and Big Brothers Big Sisters South Huron.
