Book lovers rejoice…Friends of the Peterborough Public Library will host its very popular annual fall book sale this weekend at the Aylmer Street branch.
Today, from noon to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., thousands of books in virtually all categories will be available to browse, with all proceeds from the sale again benefitting library programming.
June Lamoureux is among a small army of volunteers who work year-round in preparation for this event as well as the spring sale.
If finding a bargain is your thing, the book sale is the place to be.
Lamoureux says more than $800,000 has been raised for the library over the past 20 years.
