The Peterborough Petes have announced Mark Million as their fresh Director of Merchandise, marking a pivotal transition from the tenure of the longstanding Director of Merchandise, Don Sharp.
A native of Peterborough, Million boasts a prolific retail career spanning numerous decades. He currently owns and operates The Capital PTBO, a prominent downtown establishment in Peterborough renowned for its curated selection of licensed hats and apparel for local and professional sports teams.
Million expressed his elation, sharing, “Joining the Petes organization is truly a dream realized. Having grown up in Peterborough, my affection for both the Petes and the city itself runs deep. I’m enthusiastic about engaging with our patrons and the dedicated fanbase as they embark on their shopping experiences at the Petes Store.”
Educated at Fleming College, where he completed the Sporting Goods Business program, Million emerges as a proactive retailer possessing a track record of orchestrating and finalizing substantial wholesale agreements. His repertoire includes astute business acumen, adept inventory management skills, and an artistic flair for merchandising and visual presentation.
As the Peterborough Petes embark on this new chapter under Million’s stewardship, the organization anticipates an invigorating period of growth and innovation within its merchandise division.
