The Strathroy Hometown Festival presented by Dan Kiekens Realtor and proudly supported by the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc has been a staple in the community for over 40 years, and tonight it returns for another year. A jam packed agenda gets going tonight according to Chair Shari Terwilligar.
Plus a brand new midway comes to town this year with Magical Midways opening up at 4pm. If you’re a music lover, Terwilligar says you should be excited for what’s coming up on the main stage this evening.
Tomorrow night the main stage starts at 6:30pm with Kilowatt Annie followed by Vibe, Defbombs and Who Made Who, a tribute to ACDC. Terwilligar says she’s hopeful there will be something for everyone.
The car show starts at 4pm today with streets being closed around 1pm. Opening Ceremonies for the festival happens at 6 o’clock in downtown Strathroy tonight, a ball tournament begins today at York diamonds as well, age of majority for the concerts is at 8pm tonight and 6:30pm tomorrow.
