The Strathroy-Caradoc Horticultural Society is hosting its annual Spring Plant Sale this weekend. Coordinator for the sale, Lynda Henderson, tells myFM it will once again be at a local hall.
Henderson says that home-grown, well established, and good quality plants such as perennials, shrubs, grasses and succulents will be available. And if the weather allows it, they may even have herbs and vegetables. Henderson says last year the Society celebrated their 150th anniversary. The society originally started the sale at the Downtown Strathroy Market but out grew the space a few years ago. She says all sales will go back to the community.
There is no admission for the sale, but transactions are cash only.
