Strathroy-Caradoc Police are cracking down on speeders in school zones. On Monday, Police set up a traffic enforcement day at area schools. One stop was on Saxton Road at Scotchmere Drive, where the posted speed limit is 40km/h, and one vehicle was travelling 92km/h. The 26-year-old driver was charged with stunt driving and given a 30 day license suspension, along with the vehicle being impounded for 14 days. Police remind you that you can be charged with stunt driving if you are going 40km/h over a posted 80km/h or under zone and have a 30-day license suspension along with your car impounded for 14 days. You can also be charged if going 50km/h in a over 80km/h zone.
