It’s time to get the hot rods out, the Parkhill Optimist Club is hosting their annual Show ‘n’ Shine car show. Lorna Munro, a member of the Parkhill Optimist Club says gates open at 10am for the public in late August.
It costs 10$ to register your car and for the pubic, they are asked to bring a food bank donation to enter. There will be prizes like oldest vehicle, vehicle who traveled the farthest, people’s choice and participants draws throughout the day.
This car show is put on to raise funds to help youth in the Parkhill community and area. There will be live entertainment, 50/50 draws and a food booth where all the proceeds from the booth will go to the Parkhill Food Bank. All classic cars are welcome, including Trucks, Vans and even Tractors.
