There’s a new name that will be on the ballot for this year’s Municipal Election in October for the seat of Mayor in Strathroy-Caradoc and that is Colin Grantham. He grew up in Melbourne and has lived in Strathroy for a year now after leaving home in his late teens. He didn’t mince words when asked what the issues are in the community.
Grantham is a 40 year lodge member of Odd Fellows in addition to being a member of the local Legion, and he says it’s time for a change at the top.
When asked what his platform is, the answer came down to one main concern, and that is government interaction with the community.
If you would like to talk with Colin, you can reach him at 519-719-5948. myFM will feature all candidates as they state their election intentions, and will again feature all candidates closer to election time. May 2nd is the first day candidates can file nomination papers and first day third party advertisers can register, and this year’s municipal election will be held in October.
