On the same day that Ontario Premier Doug Ford declared a state of emergency Friday regarding pro choice protests in Ottawa and at border crossings, it was quite a showing Friday in Strathroy as well over a hundred vehicles participated in a pro choice convoy that went past both SDCI and Holy Cross High schools which also included a few students in support of the event. The convoy passed the Strathroy schools on Second Street honking their horns and flying Canadian flags, then turned around at a nearby church before parking for a few hours across from the schools. There were no incidents reported as local Police were present to make sure that school buses and students were able to access the school.
