With the holidays around the corner, the Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department and myFM are joining up again this holiday season for the 12 Days of Holiday Fire Safety Tips. myFM News will be providing you with a new tip each day leading up to Christmas weekend. Today marks day #1 and Fire Chief Brent Smith talks about Christmas tree safety.
Smith says if you decide to opt for a real tree, you should know it’s a fire hazard if it isn’t cared for properly.
