There is a new Fire Prevention Officer in the Fire House. The Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department welcomed Don MacLean to the service on Monday.
MacLean has spent 20 years in the Fire Service, starting his career with the Royal Canadian Air Force then moving to London where he spent a good chunk of his career.
During his time in London, he got to know Chief Brent Smith, and then again with his position in Malahide Township. Chief Smith has nothing but good things to say about the new addition to the team.
In London, MacLean was a prevention officer, 12 years as a suppression firefighter, before moving to Malahide as the Deputy Chief.
