Bethel Baptist Church is going to be hosting their Clothesline Day once again on August 28th, as the COVID-19 pandemic put it on hold. Now with some restrictions lifted, they are able to welcome people back into the clothesline room, 20 people at a time, to pick up clothes that they need.
Marilyn Williams, Coordinator of the Clothesline Ministry says they have been hosting this event almost monthly for 15 years, but the pandemic meant that they were only able to offer it by appointment. Now that they are back, they are looking forward to giving back to the community once again.
If you are interested in attending clothesline day on August 28th, it will be starting at 9am and running until 1pm. Once you are inside you will have a limited time in the room to give everyone the opportunity to get the clothes that they need.
