A new bar is opening in Strathroy today, but not the kind of bar you’re thinking, it’s a Cookie Bar on Front Street. Co-owned by Michelle Berry and Kaity Phillips, this location is the second one to open up, the first being in Windsor. This location opened because of public interest, and that interest has not gone away. Phillips says that even though their doors haven’t opened yet, they have seen full support from the community at the Strathroy Farmers Market this year.
In the future, Phillips says that they plan to get their liquor licence so that they can support local craft brewery, and sell local craft beer along with the cookies.
Phillips says that the hours of operation will be adjusted as they figure out what the community wants and needs, but for right now their hours will be as follows.
Thurs – 11-2pm
Fri – 11-7pm
Sat – 8-2pm
