Strathroy-Caradoc Police are investigating a case involving an assault and weapons from Saturday.

On Sunday, Strathroy-Caradoc Police arrested and charged a 15-yr-old male suspect from London. The youth has been charged with:
Assault with a weapon, Imitation Firearm – Use while committing an offence, and Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose.
The accused will appear in London Youth court in February.
The investigation is ongoing.
On Saturday around 8:30pm, 2 male youths were walking in the area of Head Street N near Kittridge Avenue when they were accosted by 2 other male youths who were unknown to them. An altercation took place during which a pellet pistol and a baton were brandished. The pellet pistol was discharged and one of the victims suffered an injury to his face. The other victim was struck with the baton before the suspects fled the scene.
The Strathroy-Caradoc Police are investigating these as serious assaults and are asking for anyone with information to contact local Police or Crime Stoppers.
