
Around 8 p.m. on July 26th, Middlesex County OPP, their K9 Unit, and Chippewas of the Thames First Nation Police Service responded to reports of multiple gun shots on the 400 block area of Middlemiss Drive, located on the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation. Police soon arrived on scene and confirmed active gunshots in the area. As a result of an investigation, officers located seven adults at the scene. All involved parties were detained without incident. Police located and seized three handguns, a large number of spent casings, three high-capacity magazines, six standard magazines, a large quantity of ammunition, Canadian currency, suspected cocaine, hashish and fentanyl. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
As a result of an investigation, police have charged 31-year-old Tiffani Martin, 23-year-old Katryna Hickson, and 32-year-old Anthony Mclean all of London with various charges. Police also laid charges on three Brampton residents: 36-year-old Patrick Angus, 28-year-old Jahmahl Thompson, and 38-year-old Dave Timoll. 26-year-old Tyrell Timoll, of Ajax, is also facing charges. Martin has been remanded into custody until a court date, while the other six have been released with court dates scheduled.
