Strathroy-Caradoc Police are investigating after attending an early Thursday morning collision.
Around 8 a.m, police alongside London-Middlesex EMS attended the intersection of Albert Street and Victoria Street regarding a collision involving a cyclist and motor vehicle.
A female adult was riding her bicycle westbound on Albert Street when she was struck by a van that was turning northbound onto Victoria Street.
The female cyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital for treatment.
The male driver operating the van was charged under the Highway Traffic Act for an unsafe turn.
Police are reminding all road users to be aware of their surroundings, especially with the increase in use of bicycles sharing our roadways.
