A very nice gesture by the Ontario Minor Hockey Association. The OMHA is extended “Red Hat” honours for the 110 teams to be finalists in this year’s playdowns within an Ontario Minor Hockey Association season that was scuttled because of the pandemic. Two Strathroy Jr. Rockets teams are among the 110 being the the Peewee AE4-AE5 and the Peewee AE3.
The OMHA says rather than ignore teams that did so well this year and maybe on the verge of a championship, the OMHA decided to extend the honours, courtesy of sponsor Egg Farmers of Ontario.
