Strathroy Mini Storage is this year’s Small Business Award winner. They received the honour during the Strathroy & District Chamber of Commerce’s Gala Awards last week. Co-owner Sue Looman says her and her husband were so excited to be bestowed with the award.
She thanked the chamber for continuing to support local businesses and their staff because of the excellent work they do every day. The two-year-old business came to be after the Looman’s recognized a need for more storage in town, after seniors who were downsizing and moving into rental units the couple own needed more storage. Other award winners include: Bossons Pharmacy for Business Excellence Award, the Egg Farmers of Middlesex took home the Agribusiness award, Denning’s Funeral Home walked away with business beautification honours, and Sutton Wolf Realty won the charitable award.
