As you read and listened to an exclusive interview this week online with myFM, we introduced you to the new interim Fire Chief for Strathroy-Caradoc Brad Bigrigg. He began his career actually as a police officer in Halton region, was a volunteer firefighter in his residential community, moved onto the office of the Fire Marshall, and has served in several fire departments around the province as Chief or Deputy Chief.
We asked him why he felt Strathroy-Caradoc was a good fit for now and what his plans are moving forward.
Bigrigg says he has some goals as his tenure begins.
myFM did discuss the changes to the department last week with multiple personnel changes and ask the interim chief if that would affect how he leads the department.
He added a reminder to residents about at home safety.
He says this week was the first time he viewed the new station #1 and he is impressed.
