
The Greater Ontario Hockey League recently announced the naming of awards in honour of notable alumni of GOJHL teams.
GOJHL Executive Director Tim Simmons says “this as an opportunity to recognize the legacy of these great players who started their careers with teams which would eventually be members of the GOJHL. It also serves a reminder of the league’s rich tradition and history.”
One of the awards now called the PAT STAPLETON MEMORIAL AWARD for Most Valuable Player, Western Conference.
Pat Stapleton:
