
Canadian Agricultural Safety Week ends on Saturday, as farmers across Strathroy-Caradoc get ready for a busy season. It’s been a week to highlight hazards on the farm, and there are many, as well as stress the importance of the well-being of farmers themselves.
Robin Anderson, with the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association tells us why this is the time to do this.
Anderson says the top three ways people are killed on the farm are runovers, rollovers and pin and struck incidents…as machinery can be a major hazard.
