Middlesex OPP and Oneida Nation Police are investigating a collision involving a police cruiser. On March 12, just before 3pm, members of the Oneida Nation Police and the Middlesex OPP while on general patrol on Bodkin Road, saw an un-plated vehicle driving erratically.
The vehicle drove toward officers who were able to avoid a collision, and then it fled the area. A short time later the vehicle was again seen driving toward officers at which time it collided with an OPP cruiser and again sped away. An OPP helicopter was called in however was met with negative results. Damage was minimal to the cruiser and there were no injuries. The vehicle was located abandoned in the City of London. The investigation is continuing.
