Big time news Thursday of this week in Strathroy-Caradoc as the municipality is once again without a Chief Administrative Officer for the 3rd time in almost 6 years. CAO Trisha McKibbin was relieved of her duties effective February 13th, 2025. The news broke via the Municipality’s social media pages Friday morning. Mayor Colin Grantham could not get into detail about why the decision.
That interim time frame right now slated for one year. This is the 3rd CAO that for one reason or another has been removed from the Municipality since 2019, and myFM asked the Mayor if he was concerned about that statistic.
In a brief social media post the Municipality said McKibbin has served the community since August 2023, and Council and staff thank her for her contributions during this time.
Former CAO Greg McClinchey was relieved of duties in November 2019, followed by Fred Tranquilli who resigned in March 2023.
