Strathroy-Caradoc Police are actively investigating a fraud and identity theft incident that occurred on January 22nd, 2025. An unidentified female entered the Apple Store at Masonville Mall (1680 Richmond Street North, London) and fraudulently purchased an iPhone 16 Pro Max using the identity and account of an unsuspecting Strathroy-Caradoc victim.
As a result, the victim incurred unauthorized charges and experienced a loss of service. The suspect was captured on store surveillance and is described as a non-white female, approximately 30-40 years old, with black hair, wearing a long black coat. Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying this individual. Anyone with information is asked to contact local Police or Crime Stoppers.
