It was one of their most successful summers in recent memory and it showed in the cheque book. On Tuesday the Strathroy-Caradoc Cruisers Car Club donated a total of just over $23,000 to 12 local organizations, part of the club’s end of year donation distribution.
The funds come from the weekly car shows at Kahuna Kones in the summer with 50/50 draws and more revenue generating aspects. President Bryan Watson says it was a really good year.
Watson says there will be quite the change next year as the shows will move from one a week to one a month.
He added a huge thank you to the community for such great support in 2024. Here is a full list of all organizations that received donations.
