We are inching closer to the festive season and with that, we need to realize that some of us may be less fortunate then others and with that comes a campaign here at myFM that needs your help, we talked with General Manager David McAllan.
McAllan says until December 13th we will be collecting from you the community.
And you can drop off your locations at multiple places in the area.
So once we wrap up collecting on December 13th we will be delivering to some four local organizations.
McAllan says there are some details for what we actually are collecting so you know what to get.
He adds the gift card aspect is for mostly our local teens.
The myFM Christmas Appeal runs until December 13th.
We will be accepting donations of:
Toys (for ages 0-16) – MUST be new, undamaged, and still in the box
Winter coats (for ages 0-16) – MUST be new, undamaged, and with tags
Non-perishable foods
Gift Cards
Donation will be accepted at the following partner locations:
105.7 myFM’s office
Canadian Tire, Strathroy
Antique Allie in Mt. Brydges
Lambton Mutual Insurance in Watford
Food Land in Komoka
OKE’s Auto in Alvinston
Donations will be accepted until 5pm on Friday, December 13.
myFM will then ensure ALL donations are given to the following organizations for distribution to LOCAL families who truly need them:
Strathroy’s Salvation Army
The Women’s Rural Resource Centre
Youth Opportunities Unlimited
37 Frank Youth Centre
