Strathroy-Caradoc continues to work through two new bylaws, one for fencing and one for signage as there have been public concerns over signage in the community causing sight line issues and more at intersections. Mayor Colin Grantham says the process continues after a 1st reading has been done at council and sent back to staff for revisions.
Grantham says eventually the municipality will be able to regulate signage even on private property.
He adds the timeline for getting the bylaw complete would be the end of the year, and the bylaw would regulate the size, type, location and number of signs.
