Farm Credit Canada is contributing $1.5 million through its FCC AgriSpirit Fund to 82 community groups nationwide to support rural capital projects. This year, the fund provided between $10,000 and $25,000 for initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life in towns, cities, or Indigenous communities with populations under 150,000. Since its inception 21 years ago, the FCC AgriSpirit Fund has invested $22.5 million in 1,697 projects. Locally, the Glencoe and District Curling Club will receive $19,000 to replace its aging roof.
