The holiday season is just around the corner but that didn’t stop a local hockey team and two local businesses from going above and beyond for the local food bank. The Strathroy Brewers in partnership with Air Design Services and myFM Radio collected and donated over 400 pounds of potatoes to the Strathroy Salvation Army Food Bank this week. Air Design Services Co-Owner Chris Hamilton says gestures like these are second nature to them.
The Salvation Army Food Bank is always collecting donations and the need will become even greater in the next few weeks as the holidays get closer. To donate please contact the food bank on Maitland Terrace in Strathroy or visit the Salvation Army Facebook page.
