It’s a big year for Remembrance Day observances in Strathroy-Caradoc, you may have heard. The primary purpose of a big poppy project that’s been worked on for almost a year now, is to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Strathroy Cenotaph. Museum Curator Michelle Wright says other events are planned along with the big unveiling of poppy installations on Strathroy town hall and at the Mount Brydges cenotaph in November.

Other events include a special war grave walking tour in the Strathroy cemetery and war related artifact day at the Museum. You’re asked to register for the events, on the museum or town website.
