The Ontario government says it’s helping Ontario residents navigate the ongoing LCBO strike by launching a new, interactive map of retail booze outlets across the province as LCBO locations remain closed. The map pinpoints exactly where residents can still purchase beer, cider, wine or spirits during the strike. One of those places is the Mount Brydges Food Market, where myFM visited on Monday and Owner Mike tells us they’ve seen a definite increase in customers coming through the doors since the strike started Friday.
Mike says he’s surprised the LCBO went on strike in the first place.
While LCBO locations, including the one in Strathroy are closed for 14 days….alcohol is still available online and at 2,300 private retail points of sale across the province, including LCBO Convenience Outlets, licensed grocery stores and The Beer Store.
