Thursday is by-election day in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex and myFM continues its election candidate features today with Cynthia Workman of the Ontario Party. The Party’s only been around for a few years with Derek Sloan at the helm and Workman tells us more about it.
Workman says the party stands for family, faith, freedom, fiscal responsibility and transparency. As for what she does for a living, Workman is a registered psychotherapist and addictions counsellor who was born and raised in the riding.
Workman says she’s always wanted to get into local politics, having run for the Ontario Party in London West in the last provincial election.
Despite this being a provincial position, if elected, Workman says she’s ready to fight the Trudeau government’s carbon tax.
Workman says protecting the education system from radical ideology is also in the Ontario Party’s platform and she’s also ready to fight for RURAL Ontario.
If you’d like to get in touch with Cynthia Workman, you can reach her at cworkman.ontarioparty@gmail.com, check out her Facebook page or the Ontario Party website and she’s even open to calls and texts. The full interview with Workman and Chris Soares can be found below.
