There is going to be a change in hospital parking rates at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
The planned increases are set to take effect on May 1st.
Officials released this statement:
“Parking rates for visitors have not been increased at the hospital since 2016, although maintenance costs have continued to rise during those eight years. PRHC has always worked hard to keep our parking rates low, at a cost that’s fair and aligns with provincial direction, while at the same time helping us to offset rising costs and support patient care across the hospital.”
In addition to the changes to current parking rates, the hospital will also be adding the option to purchase non-consecutive day pass packages for five, 10 and 30 days.
Monthly parking pass rates for Cancer Care and Dialysis will not change.
