A driver has been charged with impaired operation after their vehicle went off the road and into a ditch. On Saturday, OPP responded to a single-vehicle crash on Elijah Road in Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation.
The driver, a 24-year-old from Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation, was found to have consumed alcohol and is now facing charges under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act, including impaired driving and failure to comply with a demand.
The accused has been released from custody and is set to appear in court on May 21st.
