With a goal and two assists in a London Knights 5-1 win against Windsor Friday night, and a goal in Sunday afternoon’s 4-3 overtime win against Oshawa, Mount Brydges resident Easton Cowan officially has the longest point streak in the OHL this season. The first-round pick of the Maple Leafs has picked up a point in every game since November 25th, 2023 for a 21-game point streak. During that time, Cowan has scored 16 goals and has racked up 40 assists.
Friday Night’s points put Cowan past the 19-game point streak that Anthony Romani of the North Bay Battalion had from November 25th to January 19th. Sunday’s game winning overtime goal has Cowan tied with Mitch Marner for the third longest point streak for a Knights player.
