It’s “Your Health, Your Wellness Day” here on myFM – and we sat down with Sarah Chouffot, a Registered Social Service Worker, Mental Health Counselor, Psychotherapist (Supervised), and End of Life Doula. Chouffot took the time to tell us a little about herself and what she does.
Over the past few years COVID-19 changed the way we thought about things and how we went about our day to day lives. Chouffot says COVID changed how we think and many different aspects of our minds.
According to Chouffot, people looking for mental health help aren’t getting the help they need right away due to long wait times.
Chouffot has many services available including online services and in person services. Her online course, The Biology of Mental Health, is a self-paced online course, where you can learn what is going on with your body and brain when you struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, overwhelm, & grief. She charges $90 per session, but she also says don’t hesitate to ask if you require a lower price for affordability purposes.
