Police lay a roster of charges. Strathroy-Caradoc Police tell myFM, on New Years Day, they were on patrol on Drury Lane just south of Pannell Lane, when they saw a vehicle traveling at a low rate of speed with motor issues. Police conducted a traffic stop, and approached the lone male driver.
Police noted a knife on the male’s waste band. The male fled from the officer on foot, causing a foot pursuit and when confronted the male reached for the knife and as a result the Police deployed their taser. The male was subsequently arrested without further issues. Police determined the male was wanted by London Police.
Further investigation revealed the male was in possession of 11.9 grams of suspected cocaine with a street value of $1,190.00 and Methamphetamine 27.74 grams at a street value of $2,774.00 for a total value of drugs seized being $3,964.00. A 45-year-old from London has been charged.
